John was a good soul! I remember one of the first days of school - 10th grade. He chased Dawn Tedrow down the hall and cornered her. Then he just laughed, which made us all laugh. He was so special and wasn't afraid to let the girls know he had a crush on them.
I count my blessings that we had the privilege to go to such an openly diverse school. I had friends of every race and my eyes were opened to the handi-capable. Very courageous indeed!!
I remember John was one tough and determined little guy who didn't let his special needs limit his ability to enjoy life! I loved to hear him laugh! He was a good soul! John, you will be remembered and you will be missed!
